In the past, it was considered the food of people with low purchasing power and served as sustenance in times of famine. Originally, the main ingredient was barley. It is very rich in carbohydrates and fibre, and contains vitamins B1, B2, B3 and C, as well as iron, calcium, magnesium and sodium. In addition, it is a natural product that does not contain preservatives or colourings.
