Sull'isola di La Palma, come nel resto dell'arcipelago o in qualsiasi altra parte del mondo, la civilt\u00e0 ha cercato di estrarre quante pi\u00f9 risorse possibili dall'ambiente in cui si trovavano. A volte questo \u00e8 stato motivato dalla ricerca di ricchezze, a volte dal desiderio di espansione, ma soprattutto si \u00e8 basato sulla necessit\u00e0 e sul puro istinto di sopravvivenza. Questa \u00e8 una delle storie del 'sale marino', promosso e sfruttato a La Palma grazie alle condizioni offerte dall'isola in un'enclave che, a prima vista, potrebbe non risvegliare sogni di prosperit\u00e0. Tuttavia, oggi una visita a questi luoghi \u00e8 praticamente d'obbligo per qualsiasi nuovo arrivato sull'isola.<\/p>

Fuencaliente, il comune pi\u00f9 meridionale dell'isola, combina una variet\u00e0 di paesaggi degni di ammirazione. Le sue pinete, i suoi borghi, i suoi giovani vulcani e la sua costa frastagliata la rendono un'attrazione in s\u00e9. Vale la pena menzionare il paesaggio vulcanico 'ringiovanito', poich\u00e9 qui si \u00e8 verificata l'attivit\u00e0 vulcanica pi\u00f9 recente delle Isole Canarie: l'eruzione del vulcano San Antonio tra il 1667 e il 1668, e l'eruzione del vulcano Tenegu\u00eda nel 1971.<\/p>

In questo contesto geografico, nascono Las Salinas de Fuencaliente, in un luogo costiero dove si crea un gioco cromatico tra il nero del basalto, il marrone terroso, le sfumature cremisi e i toni ramati, fusi con il blu del mare, la sua continuit\u00e0 con il cielo, e il bianco delle nuvole, la schiuma del mare e, naturalmente, il manto bianco della cristallizzazione del sale nelle saline. Questa enclave ha preso una piega adattativa che ha convertito una risorsa naturale come il sale in un Sito di Interesse Scientifico (dichiarato dal Governo delle Isole Canarie nel 1994) modellato sulle esigenze della societ\u00e0 odierna.<\/p>

Per tutti questi motivi, il sale, prodotto nello stile pi\u00f9 tradizionale, \u00e8 diventato un elemento distinto di grande valore, in grado di svolgere un ruolo di primo piano, nei minimi dettagli, in un percorso gastronomico che ruota attorno a questa enclave unica.<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
