PRECEDENT: The aim of this meeting is to gather proposals from the island's gastronomic sector in order to draw up efficient and consensual lines of work for the Saborea La Palma project.
OBJECTIVE:
To understand the needs of the sector for the elaboration of future proposals.
To promote and develop activities for the improvement of gastronomy and gastronomic tourism, and other subjects related to gastronomy in different aspects, gastronomy being considered as a cultural, economic and social matter in a transversal way as it is involved in various sectors of activity such as catering, oenology, agri-food products, food technology, leisure and cultural activities, arts and culinary techniques.
To disseminate gastronomy and traditional cuisine nationally and internationally, and to promote innovation, knowledge and know-how, proposing and executing actions for the promotion, commercialisation and marketing of products and services, especially using new communication technologies and other innovative forms of promotion.
To promote the competitiveness of companies and entities related to gastronomy and gastronomic tourism, in order to improve the excellence of people and entities, especially by encouraging meetings and collaboration between them and quality training.
