BEER
Beer is an alcoholic beverage made from fermentation made from barley or other cereals and flavoured with hops or other plants. It consists of 4 main ingredients: water, malt, hops and yeast.
Unlike other alcoholic beverages such as rum, beer is not obtained from distillation. There are a multitude of brewing possibilities during fermentation and flavouring, so that a wide range of beer types can be found, as each brewer can add a personal characteristic to it.
Beer from the island of La Palma is distinguished mainly by the island's climate, the existence of high quality water and respect for tradition and the rural environment. The island's water, due to its weak mineralisation, contributes to achieving a special flavour in each of the beers, making them a different product, brewed in a unique environment.
The traditions of our environment and the character of the sublime nature and people of La Palma help us to brew beers through which we show the island and those particularities that make it unique and special.
