RNE's programme Nómadas interviews Brenda Rodríguez on her trip to La Palma.

Nómadas is a programme on Radio Nacional de España that offers sound journeys to different corners of the planet. On 19 March they dedicated their programme to the island of La Palma and interviewed Brenda Rodríguez at her farm.

RNE's most travelled radio programme was on the island of La Palma last March, making the programme La Palma: corazón de fuego, mar y estrellas (La Palma: heart of fire, sea and stars). The team travelled to the Isla Bonita to rediscover its charms half a year after the eruption of the volcano on the island. Accompanied by Julio Marante, president of the Association of Guides of La Palma, they travelled to different places on the island, meeting and interviewing different people. Among them, Brenda Rodríguez, President of the Association of Goat Breeders of the Palmera breed and livestock and cheese farmer of Granja Los Tumbitos. In the conversation, while her herd of goats is constantly being herded, Brenda explains her project, its history, the cheese-making process, the characteristics of the Palmera goat, the quality of its milk and her work routine on the farm.
