01 Jun La Fiesta del Vino con Sabor a Verano" is approaching and we are already working up an appetite

Next Saturday, June 3rd, the Parque de Los Álamos in San Pedro will be filled with flavours, music and solidarity during the Encuentro Enogastrosolidario. This event fuses the gastronomy and wines of La Palma with live music by Grajasound and Elvira and Fran Ramos, and highlights local crafts and solidarity cooperation as on this occasion part of the proceeds will go to Cáritas.

During this celebration, attendees will be able to enjoy a wide variety of 14 different types of pinchos, prepared by renowned establishments such as Bar Savoy, Tomo Sushi, Mi Dulce Pastel, La Marilería, Más K Café, Repostería Marroquí, Dulcería La Avenida and the Asociación de Criadores Cabra Raza Palmera. Among the delicious creations are the "Cucurucho de Queso Palmero", "Cabrita en su Salsa", "Mini Burgers", "Sushi", "Rollo de Primavera con Queso, Verdura y Mojo", "La Baclava", "Briochito Salado", "Kouign Amann", "Lemon Pie Tartlets', 'Chocolate Mousse for the Bold with Cinnamon and Spice', 'Cachapa Toque Ahumado', 'Empañada de Queso del País', 'Empanada de Carne' and 'Mini Burger de Cochino Negro y Baguel Costilla Desmechada'.

But that is not all. The Fiesta del Vino con Sabor a Verano 2023 will also offer the opportunity to taste more than 30 different references of wines from La Palma. From young whites to reds, sweet and dry malvasías, rosés, white vijariego, red oak, dry and fruity albillos, red Almuñeco, red vijariego and red Tea. These wines come from renowned wineries of the island such as Teneguía/Llanos Negros from Fuencaliente, Vega Norte from Tijarafe, Vitega from Garafía, Aceró from El Paso and Azul Perdido from Breña Baja.

It is important to note that this event is organised by the Consejo Regulador de la Denominación de Origen de Vinos La Palma and the Ayuntamiento de Breña Alta, with the support of the Cabildo de La Palma. It also counts with the collaboration of the Asociación de la Pequeña y Mediana Empresa de Breña Alta (Pymesbalta), the Asociación de Productores del Agromercado de Breña Alta, Saborea La Palma, CIT Tedote-Asdetur, Hielos Las Toscas, AGUSA and Próteas de La Palma.
