See you at the North-West Fair of La Palma

On an island to get lost there is always a place to be found. That island is La Palma, and that is the message conveyed by the advertising campaign created to present the Feria Noroeste 2023. La Palma is a good place to get lost, to find yourself and to celebrate, in style, the end of the grape harvest.

By the way, that place to meet is, this Saturday 18 October from 12:30 to 20 h., in the esplanade of Bodegas Vega Norte, in Camino Bellido 3, in Tijarafe, where some of the most prestigious wineries of the island will meet, among which are Vega Norte, Montaña del Arco, Viñarda Piedra Jurada, Tagalguén, Vitega, Aceró, Vitega and Viñarda Piedra Jurada.

But, of course, no meeting or reunion is complete without a good meal by chef Juan Carlos Curpa, from Restaurante La Muralla, and coffee and sweets by Mi Dulce Pastel, who will be in charge of feeding the attendees.

And it is at this point that you may be wondering, what about the music? A Fair without music is not a Fair. That's why we will have the DJ Jacob Alonso from La Palma, and the novelty of having Najaban Jean, creator and leader of the Nayaband project. Najaban Jean is a composer and author and represents, with his music, multiculturalism and crossbreeding, taking black music as his roots, the band and adopting sources as varied as reggae, dub, blues, jazz, or African rhythms such as mbalax, soukonss or beugeurebo, among others.

And that is how, once again this year, La Feria Noroeste was created. Well, and with the co-organisation of the Tourism Department of the Cabildo de La Palma, the sponsorship of the Cabildo de La Palma, the Town Hall of Tijarafe and the collaboration of Tijarafe RuralFood, the Consejo Regulador de Vinos La Palma, the Town Hall of Puntagorda, the Town Hall of Garafía and Saborea La Palma.
