SAT. Bodegas Noroeste de La Palma and Bodegas Llanovid S.C.L. are the two award-winning wineries at the prestigious National Wine Competition VinEspaña 2024, which was held from 29th February to 2nd March in Jumilla, Murcia.

Vega Norte wins a Gran Oro with its Vega Norte X Albillo Criollo 2022. The gold medals went to the Vega Norte Ecológico 2022 of Bodegas SAT Bodegas Noroeste de La Palma and to the Teneguía Malvasía Aromática naturalmente Dulce of Bodegas Llanovid S.C.L. And the two wines awarded with a silver medal were the Teneguía Malvasía Seco 2022 of Bodegas Llanovid S.C.L. and the Tinto X Varietal 2021 of SAT Bodegas Noroeste de La Palma.

This national wine competition, organised by the Spanish Federation of Oenology Associations, aims to highlight the work of oenologists. VinEspaña counts with the participation of around 500 samples, from which the best wines of the country are chosen.

The jury was made up of a tasting panel of experts, the vast majority of which were the most important oenologists in Spain, specialised journalists and other wine professionals, making VinEspaña one of the most prestigious and renowned national competitions.
