Description: The farm is located in the north of the island of La Palma, in Gallegos, a neighbourhood belonging to the municipality of Barlovento, which had experience and trajectory in agriculture. When the property passed to the current family, and after some thought and searching for an improvement, we decided to invest in the cultivation of coffee, with the aim of diversifying the existing crop on the island.

Currently, the variety that is planted is the typical, gesha, yellow bourbon, pink bourbon... The first variety is given by a project launched by the Cabildo in 2018 for the recovery of the traditional cultivation of coffee on the island. Currently, there are more than 800 coffee trees, among the different varieties.

Our coffee, Olicafé, is located at 300 m.a.s.l. and is characterised by being grown cherry by cherry at optimum maturity, thus extracting the maximum flavour. We are committed to developing a crop without the use of any type of product, as the farm is currently waiting to obtain organic certification, which benefits its consumption, the care of the environment, the fertility of the land and the use of natural resources.
